About Wasi

Wasi («واسي», meaning "it consoles you") is a free Islamic consolation app, on the web at wasi.page and on Android. Its purpose is to comfort people going through grief, illness, loss, anxiety or hardship with short, authentic, sourced texts, and to help them keep their daily remembrance of God.

• Daily messages: a Quran verse, hadith, saying of the Companions and early Muslims, or a line of poetry, each with its verified source and a short reflection, chosen by how you feel or by topic (patience, contentment, hope, trust, grief, illness…).
• Adhkar: morning, evening, sleep, waking, after-prayer and Friday remembrances, read one at a time with a tap counter, each with its authentic virtue, and optional reminders timed to local prayer times.
• Listen: recitations by renowned reciters, Quran radio stations, and audio readings of hadith and sayings.
• Share: as an image, as text, or as a WhatsApp status video with recitation.

No account is needed to use any of it. Optional Google sign-in exists only so a reader can keep their favourites, settings and adhkar streaks in sync across their own devices. Wasi requests only the openid, email and profile scopes, uses the Google account ID, name and email solely to identify the reader's synced data and to show "signed in as …" in Settings, never shares or sells them, and deletes them with the account on request from Settings.
